She kind of showed that at the end of Mako Mermaids, when she stopped that glass full of water. That, or hydrokinesis, and she stopped the water which also stopped the glass. but the hand motion was more telekinesis like.
Could you point out where it's mentioned as a volcano (I vaguely remember it being a thing when I came to this wiki, I might of missed fixing some of the factual things). On the page of Mako Island itself, it is not mentioned as volcano, since it's actually an impact crater of a comet revealed to be that in season 3 of H2O.
Edit: I think I found them, but feel free to point out anything I missed.
I do remember that in the episode where they see the image of the comet about to make impact with Mako/the world and the Moon Pool heating up in anticipation for the comet, Cleo said something along the lines that the Moon Pool was in a volcano, but it was suppose to be dormant.
Now thinking about it. It can't be underwater breathing when they need to resurface to breath air. they just have a larger lung capacity than humans. Only hints of underwater breathing we had was the gills Emma developed in Fish Fever. Mermaids are after all similar to sea mammals like whales and dolphins, who don't have gills, and come to surface to breath.
Underwater Breathing doesn't necessarily mean that they can stay submerged underwater all the time without coming to the surface to breathe. It just means that Merpeople are able to breathe underwater for a period of time and in general.
Not all underwater breathing means they need gills. It also means that their lungs enable them to breathe underwater without using gills. Check out this link: https://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Aquatic_Respiration This page says that people with this power are able to breathe above water and underwater without the need for gills.
Actually being able to breathe underwater (with their enhanced lung capacity) until they surface to breathe air like dolphins and whales, and not having gills doesn't mean it isn't Underwater Breathing. Underwater Breathing is simply being able to breathe underwater with their lungs. Underwater Breathing isn't necessarily only with gills.
I added hair color and eye color to a few of the infoboxes just to test it out and was wondering if it was a good idea or not? Also, I know it's entirely unnecessary, but what if we create individual infoboxes for characters, objects, and etc., or just change the infobox to all things we manually put in the infoboxes like Powers, First Appearance and Last Appearance? It would make it easier to add it infobox and we would just write the information not everything in the infobox.
It probably would be good idea to move on from that simple infobox to more custom ones. Then we could add more than 10 lines to them. Never created to infoboxes before, I probably end up cannibalizing something from other wikias.
What should I do about User:WhiteCrytal? They're constantly messing up the infoboxes with extra spacing and adding speculation. I'm tempted to block them, but don't know if it's too soon or not. Any thoughts on what I should do about how I should handle them?
Yeah, block might be the right idea. You have given them couple of warnings, and they just ignore the pointers. That means they are not really interested on improving themselves. And you have a life of your own, you just can't be online 24/7 to correct other peoples mistakes.
I get what you're saying, but my "speculations" are basically facts. All the merpeople in Mako Mermaids who have displayed this power have Hydrokinesis and Telekinesis, and since they went and graduated from Mermaid School, we know, for a fact, they have Atmokinesis
See, this was what I was talking about. How do we know that Chinese mermaids learn the same spells, or what spells were taught hundreds of years ago? There is no indication what powers Chinese mermaid has.
Is it safe to add basic powers to their Powers section? All merpeople in Mako Mermaids have Hydrokinesis and Telekinesis, that have displayed their powers, and graduates of Mermaid School are able to control the weather.
I would prefer having the ones they display. Because if we start adding potential powers to pages, then we end up having all powers to everyone, because some other character has demonstrated having them.
What pages even are missing the general powers? Hatchlings mostly, but they are still in training and might not have learned to use them yet.
I hear you, but my thing is that those powers are basic powers and pretty much confirmed by now. All merpeople appear to have certain powers in MM like Hydrokinesis and Telekinesis, and seeing as how Nerissa graduated from Mermaid School and was given a Moon Ring, she has to have Atmokinesis since it's required to graduate from Mermaid School.
If we can look at them that way, we can also add Hydrokinesis and Telekinesis as well. I just remembered that hatchlings have to use Hydrokinesis like when Ondina's students made water balls and Lyla, Nixie, and Sirena had a Levitation lesson (Telekinesis).
