Aurora is a rebel mermaid of unknown origins. When she was first mentioned, she threatened the Northern pod. This caused Nerissa to relocate her children to the Mako pod and Australian mainland for their safety. Aurora eventually redirected her threat to the Eastern pod in China. Nerissa came to help them and fought alongside the Eastern pod for years. When the battle with the Eastern pod turned against her, Nerissa went off to face Aurora, who used a spell to turn Nerissa into the Water Dragon. Aurora forced Nerissa to attack Weilan's pod and making her sleep before presumably fleeing.
Mermaid Powers
Aurora possesses the ability to swim at super speed of 600km/h, hold her breath for more than fifteen minutes, and dive at a depth lower than any ordinary human being.
She was presumably extremely powerful, since she was able to match the power of Nerissa, the most powerful mermaid of their generation.
